ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)

The basis for successful testing

ISTQB® Certified Tester is an international standard for software testers and is implemented in more than 40 countries. The training plans are centrally compiled by the ISTQB®. The certified tester program consists of several steps. The "Foundation Level" is the basic step and conveys the foundations of software testing.

Target group

Foundation level training is intended for all persons who work in the fields of software testing, e.g. testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, acceptance testers or software developers. However, also interested persons such as project managers, quality Managers, software development managers, systems analysts, IT managers or management consultants in various sectors (automotive, financial services, medical technology, telecommunications, public administration, etc.) who want to acquire a basic knowledge and understanding of the basics of software testing are welcome to participate.

Interest in software testing

Examination / certification

After the training, you can take the exam on the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level. The foundation level certificate is a requirement for the examination as Certified Tester Advanced Level.

New training competencies with SQS

From 2019, we will be offering our courses as part of the SQS Academy - the training section of our new subsidiary SQS. The SQS Academy is a worldwide training provider with more than 750 seminars for around 5,300 participants in software testing, quality management (QM), quality assurance (QA) and business analysis (BA).
